The Turning of the Year
Bowing out of 2023 with a reflective look at the state of cuisine in Central PA
John and I took a road trip to Idaho Falls yesterday for car maintenance at the dealer and I suggested that we listen to a podcast on the way. I had Lew Bryson’s Seen Through a Glass bookmarked but was very surprised when the new episode was an interview with me that he taped in October.
Lew Bryson is relatively new to the Central PA region and his enthusiasm for the food and drink of his new home turf is admirable. I look forward to getting to know him and his wife Kathy when we return to PA in a few weeks. We are like-minded and like-stomached.
His FaceBook/Instagram post to accompany the podcast was interesting too, as he did a play-by-play of making two recipes from my Seasons of Central Pennsylvania cookbook. I appreciate someone not afraid to fess up to how things can go wrong. And they did for him. Check it out.
This was such a fun interview to listen to!!
